We are celebrating FORTY AMAZING YEARS at Booker T. this year at FLYINGHORSE! Alongside our heart melting and mind-blowing students, a few special alums are heading back to Dallas to commemorate this special birthday. We are thrilled to welcome them home and can’t wait to welcome you to Booker T on April 28th. Below is a list of some of our featured alumni special guests:
MIGUEL CERVANTES // class of 1995
Miguel plays the title role in the Chicago production of the megahit, game-changing musical HAMILTON! We are elated that Miguel wanted to celebrate with us and that the producers of Hamilton have given Miguel the night off to do so! Miguel will be performing with current students, directed by Joel Ferrell (Dallas Theater Center) this ONE SHOW ONLY!!! Made possible by Christy and Glenn West.
NATHAN MYERS // class of 1997
Nathan is currently Chair of the BTW Music Dept. An internationally recognized baritone – Nathan served as soloist for five consecutive seasons for the distinguished Deutsche Oper Berlin. He recently made his Austrian Debut with the Salzburg Landestheater in the title role of Ernst Krenek’s Jonny Spielt Auf and returned home to The Dallas Opera to recreate the role of Fiorello in their production of Il Barbiere di Siviglia. A WORLD CLASS artist, Nathan will be performing along with his own current vocal and music students.

MAISIE O’BRIEN // class of 2012
Visual Artist Maisie O’Brien has been commissioned to create a work to celebrate 40 years of Booker T. Maisie will be collaborating with ten of our current students to create a very limited edition of 10 prints, to be sold at the event on April 28th. Made possible by Forty Five Ten.
